The last task of the week was to do a brickboy again but this time,differently.We had to characterized our own brick boy with any cartoon or human character that we want.I decided to choose betty boop because i think she's pretty easy to draw and her features are strong enough to make her recognizable.

i then,drew the brickboy and try to draw betty boop in it.It looked really weird and Kelly said that i wasn't making use of the space.The first box looked pretty empty.He was right though so i listened to him.

So the next time i drew the brickboy,it looked more okay to me so i go ahead drawing and constructing it.

and this is the outcome.HAHA.it looked so horrible that i was really embarassed.I had problems constructing it.Firstly,i did not do any configuration.If i had known,then i would definitely removed the middle box and draw the face on the first box.Secondly,i had problems folding it.If you see the next picture,the foot seemed to be of different shape because i had folded it wrongly.And lastly,i used chalk to colour it and chalk gets easily smudged.The colour of the face seemed to be black and beige.If i had known that too,i would definitely used paint.

The second task was to build a brickboy.Given a template,we had to draw it out on drawing block and construct it.Truth to be told,i didn't finish this task.I decided not to construct it because i was having trouble folding and figuring it out.What i learnt from this task was that,making or constructing a model,takes a lot of patience and passion.That two criteria was what i was missing.

The very first task that was given by the lecturer was to draw an object,anything that is in the studio.Firstly,we have to draw the details of the object that we chose and then,draw three views of it,which mean three perspective ways of seeing it.I decided to choose a lamp on the ceiling because it was easier to draw and my drawing skills are beyong mediocre.What i've learnt that, we could view any objects in many different perspective and having it to draw on a paper makes the object looked interesting.Well if you had such an amazing skills.As i observed from the others,they way they drew it,makes the object looked far more interesting.
